Help (F1) > Workspaces

But the path and program name shown there are incorrect. When setting up the Task, make sure you navigate to the installation directory and select WealthLab8.exe. Specifically, the example should be:

"C:\Program Files\Quantacula, LLC\WealthLab 8\WealthLab8.exe" /w "Workspace Name"

a follow up question please

Is there any way to start above WL /w with strategies that use IB as broker and without having to confirm TWS "Accept incoming... " ? (ie fully automated start)

thank you

I wish I knew. Are you connecting to TWS on a Virtual Machine?
Because on Mac Parallels, I have to acknowledge that dialog, but on Windows I don't.

direct PC to IB TWS . it seems like manual IB approval is needed after startup of WL session, this includes windows task scheduler auto-run - where you'd want the workspace and strategy monitor to run automatically

folks: found this article to avoid TWS API pop-up

https://groups.io/g/twsapi/topic/automatic_connect_to_ib_tws/4045333?p=

QUOTE:
The easiest way is to avoid the popup altogether. In TWS’s Global Configuration dialog, go into API Settings and add the IP addresses of all PCs from which you want to connect to TWS in the Trusted IP Addresses list. (Use 127.0.0.1 for the PC that TWS is running on.)

tried and had no pop-up today :)
