I'm currently trying to backtest a script that previously worked fine - ran it earlier today with no issues and have not changed it since. No error messages when I try to run it, but it just sticks for ages with a spinning wheel (it previously ran in about 5 seconds). I've updated all the data (it loads the data without errors) it needs to run and checked all the other settings. I've also tried restarting WL and rebooting the VM on which it runs.

Any thing I should be double checking? Thx

Since yesterday, IB is taking FOREVER to sometimes not even return any data. If you can, take IB out of the equation until the historical server farms starts serving again.

Though the slightly odd thing is that I'm getting the same delay when using EODHD data that I've downloaded. However, IB is still connected while this is running, so Is it safest to disconnect IB anyway? Thx

I can't tell from here exactly what's happening there, I only know that some IB servers seem not to be quickly returning requests since yesterday. But if the delay also occurs with other providers, maybe it's another process - any Event Providers checked (other than Wealth-Data)?

Any Event Provider can slow down backtests. You can see if that's the cause by just unchecking and running the backtest again.
