Has anyone ever had the issue of a sudden, vast degeneration (in regards to the speed of the opt. runs, or long an optimization run takes) of the "Optimize" function in Wealth Lab?
I'm facing this issue since yesterday: (following extensions newly updated)
-Wealth Lab 8 Client, Build 81
-Advanced Smoothers
-Binance
I'm using the same Computer/Hardware. I'm using the same Internet connection as before.
Running a "Shrinking Window" optimizastion with 900 permutations always took few minutes before, now 6-10 hours!

Also the following error messages appear on the bottom of the Wealth Lab window:
After staring a backtest I suddenly get the message starting with a yellow-circle symbol:
-"Yahoo! Finance: Error collecting Fundamentals (SPGI): The format of value '<null>' is invalid. This message appears on the very bottom of the Wealth Lab window. I use Wealth Lab Data, not Yahoo, not sure why this suddenly appears....?
and
Second new "error message" "Extended score card: Error getting ScoreCard Metrics: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Anyone with any ideas please.
Thank you.

It's irrelevant and innocuous: https://www.wealth-lab.com/Discussion/Error-collecting-Fundamentals-by-Yahoo-in-the-Log-9622

This one could be related, exceptions may be 'costly' to throw.

Anyway, we need details beyond just a description of some error condition.

My main issue has been resolved by my coach, whom I have send my issue in writing, too.
In the Data Manager---> Event Provider the "Chart Patterns", "Next Earnings Date" and "Zacks" were checked? (I don't recall checking)
Once unchecked the problem of very slow backtesting and optimizing was solved.
Optimizations and backtests are back to normal speeds. ---> issue solved.

The error message "Yahoo! Finance: Error collecting Fundamnetals (INTC): The format of value '<null>' is invalid", does still appear as soon as starting a backtest.
