A very simple and humble request. Can we get a select (and deselect) all checkmark box for the strategy optimization settings window parameters? Every time I change anything they are all checked (which would mean 400 trillion permutations). If I could just uncheck them all with one click it would save a lot of headache. Another option is simply to have them all unchecked by default (or make that an option).
Thanks!

Totally agree. I find myself reselect these parameters again and again....
Even better if WL would remember my carefully chosen set of parameters.
(even if a new parameter is added, an old parameter is removed or the start/end/default values for a parameter are changed)

Can I add a "pretty pretty please" to this request?
At this point I have definitely undertaken several man-hours of un-clicking the check boxes after every change to my strategy. It is even possible that I spend the majority of the time I spend working on my strategies unchecking these boxes. The frustration of realizing I need to make another change before optimizing after having clicked through all the check-mark boxes is hard to overstate.
For others dealing with this issue, I have found the fastest way to uncheck the boxes.
If you shrink down the strategy window so that the bottom check-mark box is slightly overlapped (see picture), you can leave your cursor in the same position and click every second or so and the screen will scroll down for you. This allows you to not have to practice your sharpshooting by seeking each checkbox individually.

Here are two another workaround: for the time until WL team adds persistence to the checkmarks:
1. In a C# coded strategy simply remove (comment out) the OptVars you don't want to optimize)
2. In a block strategy make Min, Current and Max the same for OptVars you don't want to be changed by the optimizer.

QUOTE:This is the solution I wish to vote for. Make the checkbox selections sticky so they appear just as they were during the last optimization.

Build 40 will feature persistence of the checked/unchecked states, as well as popup menu items for enabling/disabling all, none, or the selected one of the optimization parameters.
