Return the saving of the calculated parameters to the file and the loading from the file back. I don't understand why to remove the really necessary and useful functionality.

Considering the time investment in running extensive optimizations I would love to see a save / load past optimization feature.
But, i'd like to suggest an "autosave" (at intervals during optimization and on completion) as well as a resume/restore function from save interval in the event of a PC error, windows update, software crash (these never happen :)

This would require an extension to the OptimizerBase class, to give it the ability to save its internal state any some point, and then resume based on these save points. It would be a no-brainer for Exhaustive, and I could see how my Shrinking Window could accomplish it, but DrKoch would need to implement this for his optimizers as well. Cool idea though, let's try to include it in this scope.
