Totally not crucial but can you provide next to each "needs update" extension item a download link?
Good idea. Looks like it would require minimal effort.
Installing extensions requires WL8 to be shut down. So while it might help for one extension, having multiple extensions requiring update would be problematic. We should instead build in some of the functionality of splodge’s extension manager here.
Why make things complex? The user would simply click on an extension of choice, WL8 would download and save the EXE, repeat cycle, and once the user has finished downloading WL8 can shut down (after prompt). The installers could then be launched individually as usual from Windows Explorer.
To me that procedure sounds much more complex than what I have in mind.
