Hi,
in the old WL6 version there was a condition in the building block at the ROC that said "overnight price change of a previous day <X%". I could enter the Price (=Close), the LockBackPeriod (=1, for yesterday) and percent (=7.5). How do I recreate these conditions exactly in WL8? I've been brooding for too long...

unfortunately didn't help me...

Thank you in advance for your support.

You'd use the ScaleInd indicator, like set up below. This will only work when run using intraday data. Here's a minimal example also using some of the "Bar of Day" conditions available in the Power Pack extension.

@myriad or actually @andy_from_LE, I do not recognize you as WL6 customers. How come?

Anyway, to set it up choose the following combo:

Block: "Indicator Compare to Value", Indicator = 1-period ROC
Qualifier: N Bars Ago

That was super fast, thanks to both of you!

Another additional question, whether I understood it correctly, eugene:

I take the "Compare indicator with value" block:
=> ROC(Close,2) less than 7.50

additionally

"for 1 consecutive bar"

and that gives the result:

"Price change overnight the previous day <X%" with the inputs Price (=Close), LockBackPeriod (=1, for yesterday) and Percent (<7.5)?

sorry, I'm just testing the matter. every beginning is not that easy.
THANKS!

Looking at Glitch's response to your question I'm not sure if my understanding is correct. Anyway, just to clarify I assumed you're using EOD data.
