I'm running a test with these symbol settings. According to my calculations, I can operate with a position size of up to 20 (approximately initial capital / margin = 20), but the tester gives me a maximum of 3, and when raising up to 5, no trades are made. Explain what's wrong?

If the instrument's price is 30693, your starting capital is 100K and Margin Factor is 1.0, it's reasonable to expect to size the position at 3 contracts or less.
He set it up as a futures contract, but we can probably assume from the result that Futures Mode is not enabled in Preferences (F12) > Backtest > Other Settings.

Please add a scrollbar in the settings, otherwise it seems as if we see all the settings, but in fact we don’t
Right now you can click the Maximize button to see all settings.
Since the group box is "closed" it sure does make you think there's nothing more there. Nonetheless, you must have made that the Preference dialog smaller after opening it because it always defaults to a rather large size when launched -
