I agree with innertrader, can you please not deactivate after running now? If people want to deactivate, they can do it manually. Otherwise it is cumbersome to reactivate again especially for people to have many strategies.

Why do you think you need to Run Now, especially multiple strategies? What's the point? I mean, is this intended to try to work around some issue?

sometimes I didn't use the software for a while, such as during vacation. when I come back, I want to see if any signal before market open. In addtion, the next run time is 19:00 for dayly. Sometimes I want to run at 16:00.

it is mostly for scanning purpose to put in fake money account

I wonder if you can remove the feature of deactivating a strategy after run now/dayly. I have to reenable the strategy over and over . It is counter productive.

Possibly, but there are many items in the queue and we're working on other things right now. When this request nears the top we'll start working on it! Thanks for understanding.

To be honest, the features that I am most excited about are those that are going to improve my productivity, such as strategy ranking and convenience features

That may be true, but our development focus doesn't revolve around you entirely, although we do appreciate you as a customer.

True, I do hope you assign higher priority to features that improve productivity. For new features like genetic strategy can wait.

Starting from B48 you can check "Strategy Monitor keeps a strategy active on Run Now" in Preferences > Trading > Misc.

I have upgraded to B48 and find that when I perform Run Now on an *inactivated" strategy in the Strategy Monitor, it gets set to Activated after the run completes. This is the opposite behavior from prior to the fix.

I do have the new option selected in the Trading Preferences. I think that checkbox should ideally read, "Strategy Monitor leaves a Strategy Activate State unchanged on Run Now." Currently, it doesn't "...keep a Strategy active", it "...makes a Strategy active", whether or not it was active before the Run Now. Maybe there was a misunderstanding of the requested Use Case.

Yes, there is such side effect. We're looking into this.
