I have created two identical DataSets for a strategy, once with 100 shares of Wealth Data and then copied them 1:1 into a Norgate DataSet.

From the DataSet of Wealth Data I can edit and delete any shares, which is very convenient when you want to clean up the dataset for the strategy:

But if I want to clean up the shares in the 1:1 identical DataSet, just based on Norgate, then this function is grayed out and blocked in the Data Manager, and I have to laboriously go the configuration way.
(see picture below..)

Is there a plausible reason why custom data sets for Norgate are blocked for editing by the Data Manager?

I don't know why it's not enabled there for that DataSet, but at least for now you can just as easily edit the symbol list at the bottom and Apply Symbols Changes.

By the way, you can't do this for the Norgate (or Wealth-Data) managed DataSets.

The Remove Symbols menu item should be available for Norgate when B42 is released.
