Hello. I need some help with this:
Strategy Monitor and the whole WL auto-trading system usually work fine, but today a non existent position was sold, causing an unwanted short. The position was open in the strategy but not in my broker because I just started operating today. I think that my settings were preventing this to happen so I am sharing a screenshot in order to be sure it's not a misconfiguration, or in case it's a bug.

I made a test using the paper account and the same happened :-(
Maybe it's due to I ran the daily bars strategy after the market open?
If the broker doesn't have the position to exit, WealthLab prevents the order from being placed. If you were using "Live Postions" (there are reasons not to also), the order wouldn't have even been placed.
Anyway, there's a lack of evidence to investigate this, although I will check that "Selling" a non-existent position will fail.

I suspect it is something related to the time, as I was running the strategy after market opened. I will keep an eye on this.
BTW: which are the reasons not to have "Live Positions" on?

This is what we expect to see if you try to exit a position that you don't own with the "Block Exit Orders" Preference enabled (as you show).
