Dear WL-Team,
I use WL8 Build 50.
When I start a strategy, the program works normally and outputs the result.
If I then call up the new signals, they are not displayed and the system no longer responds.
Can you help please? Thank you very much!
Best wishes
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard,
There are no details. What "result"? What is "normally"?? What strategy on what data with what settings??? Please give us at least something to work with.

Now I have changed the data feed to EODHD to continue working. I can do a backtest, when I click on "Signals" WL hangs. How to roll back the last update. I want to run my systems again on Monday since I am in the market.
We're sure that both EODHD B4 and B50 are working fine. @Lukas2: same as topic starter, please give us some context, currently there's nothing to work with. What's the complete setup to reproduce the issue with the Signals tab?
Hi Eugene,
thanks for your response.
The Problem was like "Lukas2" wrote. But now the new "Signals" for a building-block-strategy appear after ca. 30-45 seconds. Something unusual, but ok!

Bernhard, question is: for what strategy? Looks like your backtest is trying to backfill some data on demand. That's all I can speculate at this point of no information.
I believe some changes we made to the DecimalsManager is behind this delay. I’ll work on resolving this for a Build 51 patch release.
OK it looks like something else is going on here. Can you show us your Data Manager, and the Historical Providers tab, so we can see what Providers are enabled and attempt to reproduce from there?
Hello,
for me the call of the signals also does not work anymore.
DataSet: Original S&P100 with WealthLab data
Once period the last 10 years from today.
Once period 2007 - 2016.
As was written earlier, the backtest runs without problems.
When clicking on the tab "Signals" the program starts to make problems.
At first nothing happens and after about 30 seconds the information "no feedback" appears.
After that the information appears - close program or wait further. I close the program, because even after about 5 minutes nothing happens.
In the meantime I have tried this with other portfolios, same problem.
Greetings
Hans

Update:
The signals come after what feels like an eternity, but when you click on a tab, the information "no feedback" appears again.
As a historical data provider, I have provided WL and IB with a hook.

New finding, after the signals are displayed, no other tab can be opened. The display "no feedback" disappears, but the page I wanted to open does not open.
I pressed Strategy after the mouse pointer responded again. But it does not open the strategies bar.
Wanted to open WL8 from the taskbar, did not go.
Started WL8 again, now have WL8 open 2 times. One sees at the picture.
Other picture shows the display after clicking a tab.
I see a message in the log related to IB. Can you first go to the Order Manager and select Dummy Broker as the default broker. Then try again. The Signals page should now have Dummy Broker in the drop down instead of IB. Let’s see if this helps and we can then focus on what’s going wrong when IB is selected.
With Dummy Broker everything works without problems.
WL8 now works as before the update.
WL8 now works as before the update.
We’ll work on getting an updated IB extension out to resolve the issue.
DIon, the issue comes down to this:
IB selected for signals, but not connected to IB.
The new Transaction logic is trying to get info from IB, while bypassing the connection altogether.

This means that if I am connected to IB before opening the signals, the problem should not occur in this form.
Of course until the problem is solved.

Yes that's right.
OK the new IB Build is ready.
