Hello,
I've configured IB gateway but when I connect to IB in WL and try to show intraday chart, it's saying Could not obtain historical data for symbol. Daily chart works just fine.
Any idea what is wrong?
Thx
Jiri

Hi Jiri,
Does your Data Manager > Historical providers tab has IB 1) checked and 2) on top of other providers? If Yahoo and WD are on top, that explains it.

OK, that did the trick, thank you :)
Though, What I can see now on the chart are all historical bars, meaning all yesterday's bars and older but from today, I can see only the bars received after configuring the data provider properly. So I'm missing all bars from the start of today's session until about 5 minutes ago... is that normal?

Probably you haven't set up your TWS time zones properly, per the instructions on the IB Extensions page (and Help Guide - F1).
You need to:
1. Delete all your IB data.
Data Manager > Historical Providers > right click IB > Delete Local Files.
2. Close TWS and WealthLab.
3. Start TWS and before logging in, select "More Options" in the lower right corner and set the Time Zone to the zone of your Windows machine.
4. Log in.
5. Open TWS. Configure > API > Settings and near the bottom select:
Send instrument-specific attributes for dual-mode API client in operator timezone
#5 is probably the one you missed.
