Hey everyone, we're excited to announce a powerful new tool here on Wealth-Lab.com, a Strategy Screener. Subscribers can scan the ENTIRE MARKET for signals using any Published or "My" Strategy!
You'll see the Screener functionality when you open a Strategy here in WL.com, give it a shot and let us know what you think!
And, yes, we're working on a corresponding Screener interface for WL8 which will call the same back-end service for complete US market Screens.

Very interesting!
Since some time that I have been considering opening a Feature Request to implement some sort of Market Scanner...
I know that we can already create a dynamic DataSet that adjust its composition depending on some qualifiers, but the choice is rather limited; and I find the process not so practical. I think that this new Strategy Screener will probably be the answer to it, since I can then define the selection criteria in the Strategy. Not exactly implemented in the same way that I was thinking on requesting it (I had in mind something more like the IB's TWS Market Scanner: https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/general/education/PDF-MarketScanner_Quickstart.php); but it is actually more powerful and very likely simpler and fitting better with a back-testing tool.
Looking forward to checking it out in WL8!

Yep. It dawned on me that I don't need to create a whole new UI for the Screener, just use the Strategies. This actually made it so the Screener can return Long/Short signals, and also report on Limit/Stop orders.
Very clever! As usual...
