does the lifetime license not apply to WL8?
My annual subscription expired yesterday, and now I can no longer launch the program; I'm getting a message saying I don't have a valid license for WL8.

Hi Hans, yes WL8 is supported, although we're still working out some of the technical aspects of that. You should be back up and running with WL8 now.
