I haven't used the app for a while, I purchased a license today, on the website status is active, but I can't launch it version 8. It's stuck on message "Checking the license". I uninstalled it just in case it's outdated, installed new ver 9 but still the same problem. Can you help please?

Rename
Make sure you have an internet connection for the license manager to do its check.
That indicates WL had a problem creating a hardware fingerprint from your computer. Are you running in some kind of VPN, or running any debuggers, etc? Any irregular system setup?
