Please can you confirm that the contents of an IQFeed dataset file remain the same between WL6 and WL7. By inspection they appear the same and by experimentation I can copy a WL6 file to the WL7 directory, and WL7 can open it, but I would like confirmation that they are the same since otherwise I don't understand why you would want to rename the file extension from AAPL.WL to AAPL.QX

Thanks

Let's agree on definitions.

A "DataSet file" in WL6 is an individual XML file. In WL7, all DataSets are stored within one TXT file.

A "data file" in WL6 and WL7 is a binary file which is not directly compatible.

I was really meaning the individual symbol data file in the dataset, rather than the dataset descriptor. For example AAPL.WL in WL6 and AAPL.QX in WL7. Thanks

Is this means WL6 can not read WL7 data files?

Neither version can read files saved in the other version.
