So, this would let you test how well a target indicator is making a certain shape?

The shapes found on most indicators tend to be distinct and have less noise. This should increase the accuracy of Pattern Recognition.

It's an interesting idea but indicators typically have lag that would add up (compared to the price pattern recognition)?

The trick is to fine patterns that occur before the triggers you are looking for occur in the price charts. I found a sufficient amount of these patterns in the Cycle indicators to make this a feature request.

The way this would work would be just like the current PriceGrids. PriceGrids have an indicator called PriceGridCF which returns the Confidence Factor of how close the specified price pattern is to the PriceGrid.

We'd have a new indicator called TimeSeriesGridCF which could return a similar Confidence Factor against a new entity called a TimeSeriesGrid. We'd deliver a corresponding drawing object and possibly editor for you to manage your TimeSeriesGrids.

if it is an easy task to accomplish that sounds like a good plan.

I can also think of some combination of price and indicator.

But sometimes there is a way around. I read about PriceGridCF and TimeSeriesGridCF. Is it really possible this way?

I've also find out that some 'wishes' are already possible but it is hidden somewhere. Lack of knowledge of the software.

I have watched many video's on youtube (mostly about the new builds) and still learning.

A feature request would be to make a convenient list with video's.
Make a serie for beginners, intermediate and experts for example.

Under 'tips & tutorials' there are only 9 video's!

Another suggestion would be that users can only vote UNDER the topic so they maybe read the comments of other like Glitch and Eugene first.

Program's help section states that The Genetic Evolver works by generating a set of random PriceGrids based on the In-Sample Data and since it is now possible to manually set patterns based on indicators, it may be worth adding the ability to search for them in PriceGrid Evolver too.
