When I apply this indicator to a chart, it has been showing me a value of 0 for weeks. That would mean that no stock in the S&P 500 has been trading below the 200 SMA for weeks. That can't be right, which is why I suspect that the indicator is “broken.” The indicator is currently at 0.42. That would mean that only two stocks meet the criteria, which I don't believe is correct. Please take a look at this when you have a chance. Thank you!

It looks like your composite indicator is based on a custom DataSet, not the S&P 500. Is that custom DataSet still around or did you maybe delete it?
The indicator is working correctly for me on a WealthData DataSet (Dow 30 here for example.)

Thanks for your reply. That's interesting. I've now tried two other data sets. Dow 30, like you did – that works. S&P 500 – that doesn't work for me. Both indicators are visible. One displays values (Dow) and one does not (SP 500).
You may have some corrupted data. I'd recommend the following...
- Go to the Data Manager, Historical Providers tab
- Right click on WealthData and select Delete Local Files
- Restart WL8
There may be some initial delay when you hit the S&P 500 because all of the data will need to be re-populated.

I followed all three steps. No change. Could there be another cause?
Additional information: I just tried it on another version of Wealth Lab running on my server. It doesn't work with the SP500 there either.
Unsure at this point, it's working for me on the S&P 500.
You can also try deleting the IndexLab folder under the WL8 User Data folder. This will clear out the cached IndexLab indicator data. Perhaps some corrupted data leaked into the IndexLab file itself, so clearing those files will force IndexLab to re-create the indicator.
Now it's working. Deleting the Index Lab folder helped. Thank you!
