I presently use IQFeed as my data provider. If I sign up for the Premium plan, do I get the IQFeed also without additional charges? In order to get IQFeed with WL7 in the trial period, do I need to pay up front in order to get streaming data.

Since IQFeed is a WL created extension, it's included in the Premium Subscription. Also, all extensions let you do a 14-day trial.

I'm using that IQFeed API with WL7 now. What I'm asking if I can use my IQFeed I have used with WL6 and use it on WL7.

That WL web link about IQFeed should also explain that DTN's base subscription plan comes with 15-minute delayed price data, not real-time data. That may be good enough for many users, but if they don't want the delayed data, then they need to subscribed to the real-time Level 1 data feed as well--an extra charge over the base price. Moreover, real-time Level 1 data for NASDAQ and NYSE are sold separately--you probably want both.

Yes, this is explained on DTN's website http://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=data&section=fees , but WL users don't realize they even need this real-time subscription if they want to stream on Wealth-Lab. The Wealth-Lab website IQFeed link should explain this better.

The Wealth-Lab website should also explain they only need Level 1 real-time data, and not Level 2 data for WL. Many WL users (including me) didn't even know the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 real-time data. Wealth-Lab does not consume Level 2 real-time data; that's a different application.

You most certainly can use the base subscription to IQFeed with both WL6 and WL7. Just understand price data will have a 15-minute delay as explained on DTN's website. (Perhaps you should call DTN's sales number for clarification.)

That delay may be just fine if you're only using 60-minute bars. But don't expect the WL partial bar (i.e. WL streaming) to work as if you had a real-time Level 1 subscription from DTN.

As I have mentioned I now have the IQFeed for WL6 and it works well. If I were to disconnect (not sure how) the IQFeed API I'm now using in WL7, would the IQFeed that I now use with WL6 be automatically be connected, or would there to be other changes required that are not possible?
