Topic starter says this may be related:
QUOTE:
Can I use symbol wild cards as follow to cover ALL the 3, 4 and 5 letters symboLs? ###, #### and #####. It seems to work initially but then the chart streaming stop working.

What scale? If it's tick or volume bars, that would be important to know.

Also, is the error persistent? Did you try again after removing the wildcards?

The error is persistent when I tried with other symbols and when the wild cards removed, the error went away.

In a quick test I just made streaming the SPY symbol with Yahoo data (on a EOD chart by Yahoo) having defined ### to cover all 3 letter symbols, there was no error. Note that Yahoo was checked as the only historical and streaming provider in Data Manager. Could you run the same test? Need to understand whether this is an IQFeed specific issue. Thanks.

Eugene, I ran the same test - only Yahoo checked as the Historical and Streaming Provider, with streaming on, there is no error. Not sure if the market is already closed affects the result. I will run the same test tomorrow morning when the market open.

Ran the test this morning (using symbol wild cards, ##, ###, #### for all 2, 3 and 4 letter symbols) with only Yahoo checked as the Historical and Streaming Provider, (did the same for IQFeed), when streaming, the charting is working fine. Not sure what is happening, perhaps the settings for Point Value and Tick Size are not set right previously? Will update if anything new happen.
