IB connector does not download certain tickers. See screenshot.
The IB connector (homemade) on WL6 is able to get these tickers, connecting to the same IB TWS.

Also, during non-trading hours, after a full update, clicking on update again will cause another lengthy download cycle. On WL6 it will return immediately because it checks and sees that the data is already up-to-date. Is it possible to implement? It will elevate the freezing of running strategy during updates and generally speed up everything.

Hasn't this been discussed in detail 2 days ago?

In regard to the 2nd issue - yes. As you can see the problem manifests itself in different use cases. WL6 solved this problem. So why can't WL7?

It looks like something happened to the connection. Restart, reconnect to IB, and try again.

This isn't true. As long as you're not requesting a significant amount of new data (to the front or tail end), it will load quickly from IB. It can difficult to determine what's actually hanging things up, but this may help alleviate the delay:

1. Put IB at the top of the Historical Providers list - or at least make it the first intraday provider so that you're not waiting for responses from other providers first.

2. Deselect Event Providers that you're not using. These background requests they often make other providers appear to take longer to load than they should.

3. Finally, intraday data is not considered up-to-date in Wealth-Lab 7 on trading days because it will download pre/postmarket data too - even if you filter it.

Here's a quick video gif I just made. It starts with a streaming chart of AGC and then I make the first-ever request for a 30-minute chart of BOIL for 3000 bars. It takes a few seconds to get the data. Then I go back to AGC, it loads quickly. Same for BOIL.
