Hi, i noticed that mathlndoplnd can give us a freedom to creat indicator, that is really cool function.

but if i want to creat a std dev line base on volum, it seems does not work. because it only uses close or some basic bar infromation as source to make dev calculations.

is there any ways or functions can help me creat such kind of dev lines?

Click on where it says "StdDev(Close,20...) to invoke the StdDev Settings dialog and choose Volume from the dropdown list:

sorry for rising a bad example, i am trying to ask if we can have more option to select. such like std_dev of 30 days TR. thanks.

Yes, you can use IndOnInd to apply a StdDev to any other indicator.

and is that a right way to creat a std_dev upper line for TR,?
because i saw the source is still close.
i guess this is right way, just to make sure.

Yes that’s right, the IndOnInd will override that Close.

Have a look at the finantic.Eval extension.
It contains the Eval() Indicator that calculates arbitrary expressions.

Makes your calculations much simpler...
