With a correction for WL8 vs WL7, here's how:

I wouldn't recommend deleting DLLs as you may inadvertently delete a shared component, breaking something else.

I haven't found a proper way to remove WL8 extensions.

Merged your duplicate topic with another one that it can be found using search.

Better NOT uninstall extensions as this is not endorsed. Inadvertently deleting an assembly that multiple extensions depend on can render them or even WL unusable. You can:

1. simply disable unnecessary visualizers in Preferences,
2. hide DataSetProviders by right clicking on them in the DataSets tree etc.

The finantic extensions can be uninstalled by removing the DLL with the corresponding name from WL's binary/base folder.

Do not remove finantic.Common.DLL as it is used by more than one finanatic extension.

For a more complete cleanup you could also remove the corresponding folder (same name) from the directory shown with WL->File->Open Wealth Lab User Data Folder.

BUT: Before you do so: May I ask why you want to get rid of such an extension?
Please write a short explanation for me...

DrKoch, hello!

I installed the extension, tried its features, I didn’t like it, so I decided to remove it.

I was surprised that I did not find an easy way to remove extensions in one click, while extensions are installed in one click.

We need a universal extension uninstaller extension. (I'm trying to decide if I should put a smiley face after that comment.)
