I am about to buy the Premium Annual Plan version, I have a question: it is clear to me that I can use the software on a desktop and laptop computer;but if I create a strategy or a data set will it find this data on both computers?
How can I get them aligned?

thank you

WL puts all the salient files in the User Data Folder, which you can relocate. That being the case, you can relocate that folder to your file backup service (e.g. OneDrive) to keep them synchronized.

I appreciate you're looking for an application such as SyncToy, but that's no longer supported by Windows 11. However, the Microsoft link below does offer some alternatives. I haven't used them.

You can point to a Network drive and assign the Data folder to it from the File menu.
Both instances of WealthLab can use this shared folder, which has your Strategies, Data, Preferences, etc.

A shared folder is another option, but be aware that Windows advertises your machine to the greater Internet when you share. That means Internet hackers can see you internal network and hack everything on it--and they will try.

If you're going to turn File Sharing on, then I would also turn on the firewall for your internal router as well and password protect it so hackers can't break in. Be sure to give any Internet services (like Google Print and OneDrive) that proxy password so they still have access to your internal network. Internet Security 101. Happy computing.
