Here's the general answer to this question so that you don't ask every time you can't get data. Bookmark this!
1. Are you using the latest Build (20 or higher) for WL8's IB Provider, AND, are you running TWS 10.17 or higher?
2. Is there a Market Data Permissions error in the Log viewer? You cannot get data from IB's API if you don't have its Market Data Permissions.
3. IB consolidated futures exchanges in November 2022, which changed the way WealthLab identifies the contract. Check IBContracts.txt in the User Data folder to make sure the contract record, if it exists, has the correct exchange. (All GLOBEX references should now be CME, for example). If you need to make a change. close WealthLab, and then change and save this file.
3b. Instead of editing the existing files for all changes, you can start fresh by deleting IBContracts.txt, IBFutures.txt, and IBFuturesMargin.txt files from the User Data folder. They'll be recreated automatically on the next start up.
4. Finally, for IB futures, you should be in the habit of using the 2-digit year. Don't request CTH3. Instead, use CTH23 (year 2023).
