Hi, hopefully a quick question: Is there any reference or guide for how to get MultplIndicator to obtain other indicator data from Multpl.com? I've tried any number of other indicator names from the website and it doesn't seem to work. I tried abbreviations and with hyphens and underscores in the names as well and not able to get anything. The only one that does work for me is the default Shiller-PE. Is it supposed to be able to obtain others besides that?

Can you provide a few that you've tried that haven't worked?

Sure. For example, I tried to get S&P 500 Earnings from this link: https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-earnings

I tried the following strings with no success:
S&P 500 Earnings
S&P-500-EARNINGS
S&P_500_EARNINGS
EARNINGS
Current 12 month EPS
Current-12-month-EPS
Current_12_month_EPS
EPS

You need to type in what is at the end of the URL. For example:

s-p-500-earnings

Wonderful - that one worked like a charm. I then went to try others and it seemed to work using that methodology with S&P BVPS (albeit last updated in Sept 2024) and Case Shiller Home Prices (last update in 2017), but now I'm getting nothing or NaN for a bunch of others, such as:

https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-pe-ratio
https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-dividend
https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-dividend-yield
https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-price-to-book
https://www.multpl.com/2-year-treasury-rate
https://www.multpl.com/10-year-treasury-rate

Any rhyme or reason?

There's hardly a point to get the Treasury data from Multpl as it has been nicely integrated into WL8 (Preferences > Backtest > Use UST Yield).

Let me check some of the failing items though.

@Eugene - For sure, I wouldn't use Treasury data from Multpl as my primary source either. Just adding it as another example for some that don't seem to be obtainable via the MultplIndicator for whatever reason.

Hopefully, NaNs should be resolved in upcoming build of the DataExtensions.
