In the File > WealthLab User Data folder there's a file called IBFutures.txt. We included most of the popular contracts there, but if yours isn't there you need to
1. Close WealthLab, and
2. create a record for it following the patterns shown and instructions at the top of the file.
Nonetheless, the record for W on ICEEUSOFT already exists. That means if you can't get data for it, it's because you need to add another IB Data subscription.

@Cone: Thanks a lot.
Strange: If don't have any ID Data subscription and most IB downloads with stocks and futures or ETFs work fine and delayed, just a little bit slow on the first download, but's okay for me.
I also downloaded C (Cocoa) from ICEEUSOFT - the same exchange as W (White Sugar). Also downloaded CC (also Cocoa), (= ICE Futures U.S.) - at IB still named "NYBOT". No problems dowloading CC data + charting from IB.
Hmmm, do you have any other idea?

What does the Log Viewer (CtrL+L) say when you request a W chart?
Do you see anything like... ?
162: Historical Market Data Service error message:No market data permissions for ICEEUSOFT FUT

Also downloaded CC
@Cone, thanks.
First of all: All data sources for the named assets - see above - are from provider Interactive Brokers (IB).
Now - you will see - it becomes "strange": Today I tried several times to download data for W (White Sugar) from IB. I also checked the lines in the txt-File for IB-Futures as you wrote earlier. Everything okay. But no success with my downloading W-data at all.
Trades, volume etc. for W where visible on IB TWS: Screenshot from TWS (real account - no "paper account"):
Also the WL8 messages from the Log Viewer looked okay:
So I tried again downloading the data for White Sugar (W) on ICEUSSOFT from IB. Ohhh - wonder: Suddenly data for W came in WL8 and charting was also okay. Who the f... knows why the system(s) did not work when I wanted them to work.
Snapshot WL8 - now with data:
Here we say: "Der Teufel steckt im Detail."
Cone, have a nice leftover Sunday.

Probably you just overloaded the IB Provider, which remember is more "broker" than "data provider".
When requesting new data series you have to be very patient. Once IB starts downloading a symbol's data, it will seem to ignore other requests until the previous one is finished. Probably this was the scenario.
