I set up Wealthlab with a live IB account, and it is working. I want to change to an IB paper account. With the TWS paper account open, Wealth-Lab refuses to connect. Anyone knows how to do this?

How do you determine that WL refuses to connect? Is there an error message, for example, in the Log Viewer?

In order manager, where there are two orders on auto trade, I see this in the bottom:Message Log - Use the green Connect button to connect to a Broker. You may need to Configure it first.

Exception: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. [::ffff:127.0.0.1]:7496

You can't change it in the middle of the session.
Restart WealthLab to connect to a different instance of TWS.

I restarted with TWS running on paper account but get the same errors:

Dummy Broker: Welcome you are now connected to our Dummy Broker!

I didn't say to restart TWS.

And keep in mind that your IB Paper Account can have different settings than your other account, e.g. Port Number, IP, Client ID, etc. These all must match WealthLab's IB Configuration.

Hey Cone, it is connecting to TWS and seems to be working now. However, I tested with a few manual stop limit orders in the order manager. The orders appears in TWS in API but diseappers right away. Another issue is the position sizing, I use 1 share/contract in coded strategy settings but strategy monitor uses 11. When I change it to one in the strategy monitor, it goes back to 11 after the automatic 1 minute refresh. In order manager, it is at 11, and it does not let me adjust to 1. Thanks a lot.

Disappear from TWS? or WealthLab's Order Manager?
If you're talking about the Order Manager it's because all the "Auto-Remove" options are checked. UNCHECK them.

You're confusing the settings on the Order Manager (which is for Manual Trading only) and on tools like the Strategy Monitor that have their own Position Sizing control. We've answered you about this in email already.
