Thanks for those patient with me figuring out WL connections and setup.

Backtesting saw something magical. Good results over 10 years with Nasdaq 100. The magical part is it totally stopped trading in bear markets, went flat and no capital used??

Here is how, confused 2 strategies up in WL and the long entry was MFI over 80. It actually made money. But in bear markets pretty much nothing is over 80 MFI so-- it stops entering. The equity chart has tiny drawdowns.

So a parameter could be created that polls the Nasdaq 100 and figures out how many are over 80 MFI and say it is 2 or less, long trades are not entered.

Hope this helps and is a contribution.

Edit, ah problem. When realized I had fouled up an existing strategy, I exited without saving. Now getting partially similar results, but not the 98-100% out during bear mkts had before. Drats, should have "saved as". Lesson learned. If you get it to duplicate what I had, please send me. Cheers

You can do that using our IndexLab Extension. Here, this shows the percentage of the Nasdaq 100 stocks had an MFI of 80 or above. The beauty of this design is that IndexLab is expressed as Indicators, so you can use them in a Building Block Strategy just like any other Indicator.
