Wealth lab admins are active on this site and give rapid and accurate answers to questions from the group. There are many posts where the person answering/helping with the question refers the user to a specific help file. I have also noticed the same questions being asked multiple times.
To help users help themselves, how about features on the website that encourage users to self-help before posting a question:

1. Above sticky posts side bar place a Resources section with link to FAQs, a new getting started quide and the youtube channel. As a hack, there could be one or more sticky posts with the same topics.
2. Move FAQs out of Support and place between support and Blog.
3. Before the user submits a question, politely indicate the effort that wealth lab has put into the help files and encourage the user to search the help. This could be in the in Start a discussion text entry dialog or somewhere near the start a discussion button on the /Discussion page.
4. Should all searches of the discussion site be full text? It’s a bit slower for sure, but gives better results so worth the 1-2 second wait.
5. A getting started section of the Wealth-lab Desktop Software Home page.

It may be possible to measure the success/failure of these changes by measuring any change in FAQ page hits and #tag submission frequency changes.
