There is a lot of hype about Futures that is unclear. How is Trading Futures better than stocks and ETFs ?

Define "better".
I'll just offer that one advantage stocks have is that they truly can be investments and held for the long term. They [can] pay dividends, i.e., yield. (WBA is paying 5.3% right now and near its 2-year low. Full Disclosure: I own shares of WBA.)
Leveraged instruments like futures and even leveraged ETFs are almost always just speculative trades and have to be treated that way, i.e., they're never investments. Being leveraged, you can make a lot quickly with a smaller account, but can also be wiped out even more quickly.
