Here are the available plans for these providers along with their prices:
Thanks for the detailed breakdown!
Q: How many news articles are there?
A: Glad you asked! I made a strategy which collects the stats. Here are the results for three different portfolios and all currently available news providers for WL:
Some providers (Tiingo) have much more articles than others. Other providers (EODHD) deliver longer articles.
But what hit me most: If you want to "news trade" the 100 stocks in the Nasdaq-100 you get 75k news articles per month (if all available providers are active).
This is 7k articles per day. If you work hard 8 hours a day it is 900 articles per hour or 15 articles per minute. Some of them are several pages long.
This means you have 4 seconds (on average) to read, understand, evaluate what such an article says, what it means and if this news will move stock prices (and in which direction).
Sounds like you need some help, some assistance from the machine...

Tiingo has its news history limited to three month.
So I put a "Start Date" of 3/1/2023 for the other providers that support a start data. (all but Seeking Alpha).
This explains the start dates in the table above.
