Is the print content from selected tab function available in WL8?
In WL6.9 you were able to print a report of all the tabs. Trades, Performance, equity curve, drawdown...
This was a nice feature for taking a snapshot to record/share a strategy performance.

No, it's not available. These days the preferred method is either copying to the clipboard or just getting a screen capture and printing that.
When finding a great strategy or at least with potential, I would like to store this. Not only SAVING in a folder as a strategy but I would like to PRINT the backtest results.
This means also printing as a pdf. So I have an overview of all the settings and results later or I can send this to a friend.
I rather tought I am not finding the correct button than this is a missing feature but I found a topic about it: https://www.wealth-lab.com/Discussion/File-Print-Content-from-selected-tab-7860
I am amazed that this feature is just cancelled in WL8. Why would you do that?
A screenshot is not the same as printing all tabs in 1 file, IMHO.

Because it is too time intensive to develop and maintain. You can just copy desired tabs to another program (Excel, etc, and print from there.)
We have to be smart about what we decide to take on with our very limited dev resources!

Yes indeed, but it was there. Why removing it?
Is it a lot of maintenance? I don't know I 'm not a programmer.
But I cannot think of a program without a print button.
Throw me 2 names. :-)
I guess, everybody will see new features once in a while being implemented where he thinks: what is this for? How many people will use this?

WealthLab 7 was a complete REWRITE from scratch. So, we did not remove anything.
Fidelity owns the WL6.x code base, so we needed to re-create the entire product from the ground up. And printing did not make the cut because it's notoriously tedious to implement and we offer viable workarounds (full copy/paste support.)
