I opened an free account with EOD Data and get an api key.
When updating FOREX - for example eur.usd - this error occurs:
"Updating Provider: EODHD
Please choose desired bar scales and update provider DataSet(s) first
Historical Provider Update completed."
I am also testing different fx providers like TwelveData. There this does not happen. Do you have any idea what this message means? I can not find a way to get this work.

Rename
This is not an error (renamed your mistakenly named topic title and untagged #BugReport which is in error). Simply do as suggested by the message. It sounds quite clear to me but we're open to suggestions as to making it more helpful:

Update your EODHD DataSets one by one, choosing the bar scale(s) from the dropdown in the Data Manager - as you once did with TwelveData - and then you'll be able to run bulk provider updates with this provider.

The idea here is, you need to first update one or more DataSets or at least download some symbols using a chart prior to performing a Bulk Update of a Provider. Otherwise, how are we to know what symbols you're interested in? It would be too wasteful and take too long to simply download the entire market during a Bulk Update, so it's keyed off what you've downloaded previously.
Unfortunately I can't get any further with the suggested solutions. I am attaching some error messages. The mistake happens equally with stocks and Forex.

It worked for me but a breaking change might've slipped in. I'll check it.
It's working for me 🤷♂️ However, I'm running B4 - this may matter. We'll release B4 soon, then please retry.
