I can't open WL now because I'm getting this error. I should have around 90 more days on my license though.

This is a Microsoft Azure issue. They're working on a resolution.

I experienced the same issue. WLab website was also down. It lasted a few hours... which is an eternity.
It was scary to be locked out of using WLab regardless of where in the back-end the issue arose. Perhaps the developers can create bulletproof workarounds for this/similar situations so a user doesn't lose WLab functionality - ever - wherever the fault may be.

Microsoft Azure experienced an outage that rendered our database inaccessible. It was scary for an hour or so but they resolved the issue.

Hope you'll come up with a way that ensures all legit users can start the WLab app regardless of whatever is going on at the back end. It's important critical. If its a license issue perhaps it can be stored locally on the user's PC??

Don't know if this helps but WLab hung at the very first step - "Establishing Settings" - before the error message appeared.

I don’t want to get any false hopes up here. If Azure goes down WL goes down. Like it or not we are dependent an Azure being up to function. I think there have been only two outages lasting about an hour each since WL7 was launched so I’m happy with that level of reliability.

You know Sammy, these days everyone can fail almost on the SAME day. The biggest names just did: Apple, Telegram, Whatsapp, Azure. Just keep calm and carry on. Cheers.

We’re in a much better place now than 24 years ago when everything was running off a single server computer in my bedroom! 😅
