EODHD works for some of the major FOREX pairs like

CADUSD EURUSD USDAUD USDCHF USDGBP USDJPY

but I have trouble to get 60 Min FOREX data for

EURAUD EURCAD EURCHF EURGBP EURJPY

Any ideas?

Try adding a .FOREX suffix to those crosses as suggested in the Help > EODHD. This way I'm not having trouble getting Daily and 60-min data for e.g. EURAUD.

ok, this works better (it is a bit clumsy however)

With that trick I get 60 min and 30 min data.

15 min or 10 min works for EURUSD only.

Is this a known (but undocumented) limitation of the EODHS feed?

Re: clumsy. It may be but otherwise recognizing Forex crosses could be ambiguous given data vendor's breadth of symbols across the world and different asset classes.

Re: limitation. I'm not aware of limitations.

Eugene, I’m not aware of ambiguities when using 6-letter symbols that can readily be identified as fx symbols. Can you make the EODHD smarter to detect a fx symbol and make the request with any required suffix?

This has been discarded before because of 6-letter crypto symbols (at least). But EODHD is a global data provider so other ambiguities may emerge.

For me it is similar. i even added the ending .forex to the following pairs. but i only get the daily data. neither 60 minutes nor other intraday settings work.

EURCHF.FOREX EURUSD.FOREX GBPUSD.FOREX NZDCAD.FOREX

I'm not a EODHD user, but let's make sure everyone is aware that you cannot get today's intraday data from EODHD until tomorrow.

Yes, I know. Thank you.

But I didn't get any intraday data at the moment. But I will check it again tomorrow as my EOD data usage is back to zero. Maybe that will be a part of the problem.

Here are my findings so far:
I have a "All Exchanges/MONTHLY" ($30/month) subscription with https://eodhd.com/

They advertise a large number (943 tickers) of currencies and currency-pairs:
https://eodhd.com/financial-apis/list-supported-forex-currencies/

The six currencies with the highest trading volume are:
USD EUR JPY GBP AUD CHF CAD
(see wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_exchange_market)

With six currencies it is possible to trade 21 pairs.

The WL-EODHD extension delivers data for 11 of these pairs (USD* and EUR*):
USDJPY USDGBP USDAUD USDCHF.FOREX USDCAD.FOREX EURUSD
EURJPY.FOREX EURGBP.FOREX AUDEUR.FOREX EURCHF.FOREX EURCAD.FOREX

Daily data goes back to 1980 in some cases, the shortest history starts January 2000.
(very good)

The remaining pairs are not available (with or without a .FOREX extension):
GBPJPY AUDJPY CHFJPY CADJPY GBPAUD GBPCHF GPPCAD
AUDCHF AUDCAD CHFCAD

60-Min, 30-Min Data goes back 1 month (500 bars). EURUSD has two months.

15-Min, 10-Min data is available for EURUSD only and for one moth only.

No 5-in or 1-Min data.

I asked EODHD support why I get restricted data only. Here is their answer:
QUOTE:
I think a similar question should be directed to the Wealth-Lab support.
Because all these tickers are available with our service: GBPJPY AUDJPY CHFJPY CADJPY GBPAUD GBPCHF GBPCAD AUDCHF AUDCAD CHFCAD. The data for them is available, and it is up-to-date.
The same for EURUSD: we have 1-min data since 2009. 5-min and 1-h data since 2020. You can verify this yourself using the Intraday API: https://eodhd.com/financial-apis/intraday-historical-data-api/
Please also note that we don’t provide 10, 15, 30-minute data.

You cannot access the data without a .FOREX suffix for anything not ending in ...EUR or ...USD. GPPCAD is obviously in error, use GBPCAD.FOREX instead. The Daily data is available to me 🤷‍♂️

Hmm.... I get an error:

What might be the reason?

As for intraday data, try opening a chart - that works for me.

I tried AUDCAD.FOREX in a Chart:

If I enter this URL in a browser:

https://eodhd.com/api/intraday/AUDCAD.FOREX?api_token=643e6e****71a1.30393693

(with my correct API Key)

I get a large CSV file:

QUOTE:
Timestamp,Gmtoffset,Datetime,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume
1686614400,0,"2023-06-13 00:00:00",0.902369,0.90253,0.901369,0.90226,

How about after right clicking EODHD in Data Manager > Historical Providers and selecting Clear Internal Request Tracking Info?

That helped. :)

Now I see long daily histories for all 21 pairs (as mentioned above)

60 Minute data still only for a few pairs and for 1 month. This looks like a bug in the adapter to me...

After I Go Data manager->Historical Providers->EODHD->Right Click->
Delete Local Files and
Clear Internal request Tracking Info

I have to click "Data Manager->DataSets->FOREX->Update Data Set" twice before all Daily data is updated.

Now Intraday data (60 Minute, 30 Minute, ...) is gone and does not come back...

EODHD's Control Panel shows that a lot of data is downloaded, but it does not appear in WL... :(
