Good Morning.
I've been looking for a WL7 provider that has historical data for the US unemployment rate. I've not found it
Do you know if this data exists in any Wealth Lab provider?
Maybe it would be a good idea to create a new data provider from FRED? They have a multitude of fundamental data that can be useful for long-term strategies.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Although such "provider" does not exist, WL7 has advanced to a more convenient implementation of FRED as an indicator in Data Extensions:
https://www.wealth-lab.com/extension/detail/DataExtensions

Namely:
"Thousands of economic time series by the Federal Reserve (FRED)"

Check out how such indicators work in an animated GIF featuring another indicator for MarketSentiment:

Such indicators cache data behind the scenes and update it on demand without the need in a historical data provider. You're gonna like them!
