Interactive Brokers has an office in Switzerland and supports trading on EBS, BATECH, CHIXCH, TRQXCH. Of course, IB is a broker and you'd need an account, which I do recommend. Check the commission rates for the instruments you plan to trade.

Being a broker, IB isn't a "real" data provider, but as long as you don't have large data demands for thousands of symbols or long intraday histories, it works quite well.

Free daily data at Yahoo; start with ^SSMI for index, then click Components. All other Swiss equities follow same ****.SW suffix

Alternatively click "World Indices", expand "Switzerland - SMI", there you have them (data provided by Yahoo).

Don't know why the suffix is .VX, we'll take care of this.

EDIT: fixed, next Friday the World Indices will have the .SW suffix for its Swiss stocks.

I join with Cone. IB can be used.

But you did not say if you want to pay money. If you don't intend to trade you will pay inactivity fees. (sth. like 10$, you need to look it up). The market data that is selected can then also incur costs after selection. If IB is also considered as a broker, I find the overall package, with the WL8 interface, very attractive.

I have an account with IB and also trade US equities heavily with IB. The data connection with WL7 is o.k.
With WL8 I have no connection to IB. Also, I can't find the symbols for Swiss stocks anywhere.

There is IB provider to be installed in WL8 separately. You have to subscribe to Swiss market in IB.

I installed the extension for IB in WL8.
Unlike WL7, I cannot connect to IB.
On the TWS I showed the prices of the Swiss stocks with a 15 minute delay.

Apparently the data isn't free, you should contact IB for pricing.

For IB provider issues please ask in a different topic.
