is it possible to access Equity from a custom indicator?
I have tried within Populate() and found so far ´CurrentEquity´ does not exist in the current context. Thanks if you can share any advise here

Clearly not.
Indicators could work with a TimeSeries that you pass to it, but a CurrentEquity series is not known at Strategy Initialize(). And if it were known, what's the point in testing?
