I am also a long standing user of CSI data. How does one create a dataset from CSV files in WL7? I tried creating a new ASCII dataset but when I set the directory to where the files are stored nothing seems to show up (I tried using both csv and txt file extensions).

Hi Carova,

Many thanks for the information. The part that was tripping me up was the "Create a New DataSet" screen. When I selected the directory where the ASCII files are located no files showed up at all which made me think there was a glitch. But if one ignores that and continues, the DataSet does get set up and everything is ok.
