Meanwhile, is there a startup key combination that will load only WL8 core without all the extensions? I want to see if that helps.

No there’s not but that sounds like a useful idea.

On the startup dialog box, indicate which key combination to use to exclude loading everything, just the brokers, just the trading extensions, etc.... Whatever you think creates the most conflicts.
