I am new to the site. I cloned one of the ranked systems on the website to backtest. How do I run it on the desktop software. On the software says indicators not found because they are made by the creator. How do I get the system to run? or is cloning just for testing on the website?

I tried to clone the top system from DrKoch.
The error message in the software is "the type or namespace 'finantic' could not be found.

That's expected: in his systems, DrKoch (finantic software) uses own extensions. Since you apparently don't have them installed, Wealth-Lab's compiler throws the error message. If the system's description contains the extension's name, try installing the appropriate extension from this page (at the bottom) and then restart WL8 to apply:
