To create a strategy, I use the “Ascending Triangle” figure.
I create a strategy.
I'm testing it.
I go to Chart.
The graph on the left shows one figure "Ascending Triangle", entry to "Buy", exit to "Stop". On the chart in the center there is an entrance to "Buy", an exit to "Stop", the figure "Ascending Triangle" is not displayed. Also with the entrance on the right, there is an entrance to "Buy", an exit to "Stop", the "Ascending Triangle" figure is not displayed.
I think it's a mistake. It would be nice to fix it.

Perhaps the chart is too condensed to display that pattern? Scroll the mouse wheel up to increase the spacing to say 10 (or type in that value directly into the chart's Spacing field) and you should see them.
Eugene, hi!
Did it, doesn't work.

I'm facing the same problem. Many non-perfect patterns are detected, but perfect ones are not. In this case descending triangle was not found. I'd like not to reinvent the wheel if such an algorithm already exists.
