WL team - Using WLB 38, i.c.m. TwelveData for live and historical data. I'm unable to select the 2 minute bars in the chart. I get the message that the historical data cannot be obtainded. I have downloaded the historical data from TwelveData for the 2 minute time interval, but he keeps giving the error message. I am able to show other time intervals in the chart, such as the 1 minute, 5 minute, etc, and even 3 minute, although I haven't downloaded historical data for the 3 minutes at all. Any suggestions on how to get 2 minute bars.

Did you restart WL8? Try restarting it (to "clear tracking info" the simplest way) and then double clicking on your symbol in the DataSets tree, then choosing 2 Minute in the chart dropdown.
Also, how many bars does the Data Manager show for your TwelveData symbol(s) - can you post a screenshot?

I tried restarting, selecting symbol AAPL and 2 minutes from the dropdown, but still get the same message, that the historical data cannot be obtained. I have attached an image for the number of downloaded 2 minute bars.
Please choose "Offline mode" (File menu) before retrying.
Still no luck unfortunately. Would it help to reinstalling Wealth-Lab?
It’s doubtful that reinstalling WL would change anything.
Don't "select symbol AAPL and 2 minutes from the dropdown". With Offline mode on, expand the DataSet and double click on AAPL in the DataSets tree to bring up the chart.
That's what I did. I just tried again, but still the same result. So the steps I took:
- Close and restart wealth-lab
- Set to Offline mode after restarting
- Goto Datasets, Expand TwelveData and double click on AAPL
- Chat then opens with AAPL.
- Then I select the 2 minutes time frame in the chart
I only have TwelveData turned on for Historical data, all the other data providers are unchecked.
This happens with all the symbols in the dataset by the way, not just AAPL.

Technically, the TwelveData API does not even return 2-minute bars at all. The next lowest time frame is 1 min so my understanding is that you're getting compressed data when you request 3-min bars.
Scroll that Data Manager tab to the right. In the Source column (on the far left of Message), what provider is named as the actual data provider of 2-min bars?

It has TwelveData as the source.
OK. What about Alphavantage, is your experience different?
I’ll give a try tomorrow, and let you know.
No, no problem with AlphaVantage. Shows the 2 minute chart without any problem. However, WealthData has the same problem as TwelveData. There the 1 minute chart is OK, but the 2 minute gives the same error, that the historical data cannot be obtained.
There also seems to be a problem using streaming data with TwelveData. The chart does not update automatically. I have to hit the lighning bolt button to have the chart update. Using Morningstar it does update automatically when streaming is on. I don't know if this is related, but I thought I'd mention it. I also don't see a web socket connection being made to TwelveData when I monitor my account there while using the stream option in Wealth-Lab. Is that correct?

This is a misconception. WD does not support intraday data in principle.

The Source column will tell you which data provider the 1-min data is actually coming from when you choose WD: it's either AV or 12D.

The 12D streaming provider curretly does not use web sockets, it uses snapshot quotes.

Yes. The API presumably has changed, we need to adjust in a new build of DataExtensions.

OK this is fixed for DataExtensions B14 (when available).
Also, I seem to have fixed the 2-min issue with another commit. At least it's working for me right now:
Ok, sounds good! When will the B14 build for the DataExtensions be available?
