After clicking OK there, it should start an update program that takes you through each installation.
Something to try is to start WealthLab in Admin mode. (Start menu > right click WealthLab > Run as Administrator). Then try again from the Version Info box. It would be good to know if that works for you.
It has never failed for me, but if you can't get it to work, you can go to the website and download/install each one individually.

Yes, we know it's not quite right. This is not the first time we hear users experience inability to update to B42 from the Home page. We're trying to get to the bottom of it.
Also you may skip downloading the builds from the website as they have been supposedly downloaded to this location:
c:\Benutzer\kinsey (?)\AppData\Roaming\WealthLab8\Updates
Close WL8 and start the EXEs. Does it help?

I understand the frustration around not being able to update the software from the built-in Home Page mechanism. Fortunately, there is a workaround by updating directly from the web site.
We're trying to understand why this might be occurring for you. Did you perhaps change the WL8 installation folder when you installed it? If you run WL8 as a Windows administrator does this change anything?
