Trend is defined using the TrendMeter indicator (period of 20.) 50 or greater is up, -50 or lower is down.

And, new Genes can be developed. They are .NET classes that descend from a base class called CandleGeneBase. So, for example, you could compile your own library of Genes in a .NET library DLL and WL8 would recognize your Genes if you copy that DLL into the WL8 folder.

If you're really interested in developing a custom Gene library you could hire our team to do it using the Concierge support service.

We look at the average volume of the past 10 bars.

If volume is 2x that or greater, heavy volume.

If volume is half that or less, light volume.

I have marked two conditions in yellow.
Setup is :the open is near or greater then body midpoint. Is this the correct code or will this oppose each other?

They shouldn’t oppose each other.

"The height of the shadows grow taller on the last two candles."

Is it possible to program this in WL?

Not in the Candlesticks extension, we'd need a new gene for shadow height compared to shadow height N bars ago. You can add a #FeatureRequest and we can work on it.
