Is it possible to add Max risk % to the advanced size timid/bold Equity? This seems feasible to me.

Do you know who is the source of this technique ?

Can you clarify your idea? It's a formula of its own so the standard position sizing methods like Equity % or Max Risk do not integrate.

How so ? he doesn't use equity % ?

I imagine for example
Max risk per pos % : 1%
Increase size when risking market’s money %: 50% of market profits
equity increase : 500%, i.e. when I have reached a profit of 5x max risk per position, sweep all of timid equity.

I would have liked to know the source because I use a very similar management system (separates capital and market earnings).

Although Van K. Tharp isn't credited in the help, I believe he's the source of the method. A brief search couldn't confirm that, though.

Yes, it's used in the size calculation logic but I don't see how it all links to your idea of PosSizer overhaul. We could possibly help build a new PosSizer according to your formula as a concierge job?

Maybe I don't understand the formula.
Is my formula off-topic ? because for me the formula corresponds exactly to the original formula but in Max risk%
