With WL6 I use Norgate Premium Data and Australian data sets of which there are about 100. Starting to setup WL8 but it only lists ASX Ords and ASX 200. WL6 uses Metastock Format to help setup but WL8 does not use it.
Is there anyway I can import and use the whole gamit of Australian data sets?

Since this is Norgate specific it would be best to ask this on their forum on the Norgate web site. But I’ll give Richard from Norgate a heads up and hopefully he’ll check this thread here too.
Hi Ian,
I highly recommend you use Norgate Data instead of our (legacy) Premium Data product.
Although WL8 has the ability to create a Data Set using the MetaStock format, you would be missing out on all of the new capabilities (such as survivorship bias-free backtesting on historical index constituents, plus having the ability to incorporate dividends).
Norgate Data is a separate subscription from Premium Data. You can certainly try it out: https://norgatedata.com/freetrial.php
For further information about how it all works, see here:

Thanks - I am having discussions with Premium Data. With WL-8 under New DataSet there is a drop down for World Indices and includes ASX All Ords and ASX 200. These come up as charts. Are these data sets 'free' or do I have to subscribe to Norgate Data. I can live with ASX 200 only.
The indices you see under "World Indices" are powered by Yahoo's free data and inherently do not support any survivorship bias-free backtesting. However, the composition of all indices in this group is kept actual (updated on a weekly basis).
Be careful. Yahoo! may not let you update 200 symbols any longer before cutting you off.
