C-strategies-seem-to-move-from-folder-to-folder

I have seen the same issue a few times in the past.
I couldn't figure out the root cause, but it happened.

Me too, and now Glitch will believe me.
When it happens, you can find them in the next folder down, right?

I will keep an eye on "next folder down".
It is an unsettling situation when it happens and, in a rush, to locate the file I was not able to think. It seems that once it moves it settles in its new folder.

Are you sure you're not accidentally dragging them? Not doubting it's happened to you all, but I haven't experienced this personally.

I had the same thing recently with a block strategy. Now I found it in the folder below.

That's right. It always moved to the next folder down.

I had this multiple times. I thought I somehow accidentally move it....

Here are my folders roughly:
Strategy in Day folder moved down four folders over time to Seconds folder
Strategy in Minute folder moved down to Seconds folder
Strategy in Seconds folder had nowhere to go it seems so it stayed put
It may be that the process of moving a strategy to a chart window accidentally moves over a folder and on the way to the chart it also drops the file to this folder.
I will try to move a strategy laterally first until it hits the chart window.
In the strategies pane, the code there will not know why I am moving a strategy,
(a) to aother folder (b) to a chart window
